Building of the Apartheid Wall Continues in Budrus, as does the Popular Resistance

October 4th, 2004– Occupation Forces are continuing to build and destroy for the Apartheid Wall in Budrus village, situated in northwest Ramallah District, currently laying the groundwork in various parts of the village’s west side, while in the south continuing the area’s ruin as of last month’s commencement in those parts. After 8 Months and Resistance: New Destruction for the Apartheid Wall in Budrus

September 26th, 2004– Occupation Forces have begun destroying portions of the village of Budrus, located in the northwest side of Ramallah District, in order to continue building the Apartheid Wall after having ceased “its work” in the area for the past 8 months, due to the popular resistance of the Budrus residents. Budrus village, with a population of 1200, will find the Apartheid Wall encircling it from the north, west, and south, reaching Ni’ilin and Al Midya villages which are to the south of Budrus. In addition, another section of the Apartheid Wall will be completed in the east and will encircle these villages along with the villages of Qibya, Deir Qaddis, Rantis from the east, isolating them from Ramallah. Devastation in Beit Awa; Hebron Farmers Face Immeasurable Suffering this Olive Harvest Season

September 23rd, 2004– Occupation Forces continued on Tuesday destroying lands and uprooting trees in the south and middle of Beit Awa village. The people of the village, defending their lands, confronted the Occupation Forces who fired tear gas and live bullets at the people, in addition to beating them with batons. In Beit Awa, particularly in the center of the village, the Apartheid Wall will be built near the homes and schools, with the Wall’s path going on top of the village cemetery.
